The earrings are pretty but the amber is too thin and fragile. Also, they are almost an inch in diameter so if you prefer smaller earrings, these may not be for you. I returned them and exchanged them for the amber flower pin which I am keeping.

These earrings are elegant, classy, and chic and beautiful all at once! The first time I wore them I received ooh's and ah's and compliments. I was also asked by one woman what kind of "stone" they were. When I told her they were amber she said "I thought so!" I told her I bought them from the Smithsonian Catalog and she was surprised as she did not know such a catalog existed.
