I've been looking for a quality reproduction of the George Nelson ball clock and this is it. I've seen poor quality ones out there and was concerned that was what I was going to get for the price. But it's one of the better ones I've seen. I highly recommend this if you want a great piece of mid century modern nostalgia for your home.

It was hard to unpack and there were no directions. I haven't been able to get it started yet. The minute hand is loose I will fix it and put it in my sun room.

I loved the look of this clock and it is well made. My only complaint and it is minimal is that I have it in a bedroom and you have to tune out a faint ticking sound when you lay down to go to sleep

The design is a real eye catcher. However I ordered a clock and not a painting. Two battery changes and the clock will not keep accurate time. So now I dread, I must re-pack and return (for an exchange).

The original design centerpiece is 4 inches deep (instead of being flat in this version). So the original design sits about four inches away from the wall, making the appearance of the orbs much more dramatic, more atomic and molecular-looking.

Otherwise, it is a higher quality replica.
