This book is a good bet for any library, but especially for anyone interested in aviation, history, and/or art. It is a beautiful book from start to finish - the pictures show wonderful detail and the text is quite interesting. I have a love affair with the gilded age of flight, and our household contains everything from commercial airline to student pilots, but that aside, this book is ideal for anyone who appreciates history, art, art history, advertising history, quality coffee table books, or a good story!

I bought three of this book as christmas gifts. The design is beautiful, and the content is a wonderful chronological history not only in art, but in airlines as well. I gave these to my friends who either travel a lot or are aviators, and they were very pleased and impressed.

This is a beautiful art book. The poster art is reproduced in bright and vivid colors. Travel posters are a wonderful form of art , combining beautiful images and the desire of the airlines for more passengers. The posters use stylized art deco scenes of beautiful people in perfect and exotic places. Art and commerce are combined in an outstanding way in the travel poster. This is a great book for art lovers, travel lovers and airline history lovers.
